Romans 14:11

What does Romans 14:11 mean?
Paul is reminding the Roman church that ultimately, every person will stand before God and acknowledge his authority. He's quoting from Isaiah to make a point about humility: no matter how confident we are in our own opinions or choices, we're all accountable to God alone. This matters especially when we're tempted to judge others harshly for their personal convictions. The passage invites us to loosen our grip on being right. Whether someone is struggling with faith questions, making choices we wouldn't make, or seeing things differently than we do, they're answering to God, not to us. That knowledge can actually free us to be gentler with one another while we're all still figuring things out.
