Romans 10:16

What does Romans 10:16 mean?
Not everyone accepts the message about Jesus, and Paul reminds us this isn't new. He quotes Isaiah to show that even in the prophet's time, people heard God's word but chose not to believe it. The point isn't that God's message is unclear or weak, but that faith requires us to actually receive what we're being told, and some people simply don't. This can be comforting when we're sharing our faith and encounter resistance, because it reminds us that the struggle between hearing and believing has always been part of how God works in the world.
