What does Revelation 7:6 mean?
This verse is part of John's vision of the end times, where he sees 144,000 people sealed by God, with 12,000 coming from each of the twelve tribes of Israel. The tribes listed here, Asher, Naphtali, and Manasseh, were descendants of Jacob and held significant places in Israel's history and geography. What makes this passage meaningful is that it shows God's faithfulness to all his people, both past and present. Even in the final cosmic vision of Revelation, God doesn't forget or overlook any of his chosen ones. For those of us struggling today, this can be deeply reassuring: we're not too small, too far away, or too insignificant for God's notice and protection.
