Revelation 7:3
“saying, “Don’t harm the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, until we have sealed the bondservants of our God on their foreheads!””
What does Revelation 7:3 mean?
In this moment of apocalyptic vision, an angel calls out to stop destructive forces that are about to be unleashed on creation. The "sealing" on the foreheads represents God's protective mark on his people, marking them as belonging to him before judgment falls. The pause in destruction shows God's priority: protecting his own before allowing consequences to unfold on the world around them. It's a reassuring image that God knows who belongs to him and keeps them safe even in times of upheaval and fear.
