What does Revelation 19:4 mean?
In this scene from John's vision, heavenly beings are responding to God's justice and victory with complete surrender and joy. The twenty-four elders and four living creatures represent all of creation joining together in acknowledgment of God's authority, and their falling down is a gesture of absolute reverence. When they cry "Amen" they're saying yes to everything God has done, and "Hallelujah" means they're bursting with praise for his power and faithfulness. It's a beautiful picture of what worship looks like when stripped of everything except honest adoration, offered without hesitation or doubt.
