What does Revelation 15:1 mean?
John is describing a vision of seven angels about to pour out the final judgments of God. This isn't meant to be cheerful, but it carries an important message: God's patience has boundaries, and there is an endpoint to His tolerance of evil and rebellion. The word "finished" suggests that after these last plagues, God's work of judgment will be complete—no more warnings, no more delays. For readers in difficult seasons, this can actually be oddly comforting. It means God isn't indifferent to the world's brokenness and injustice. The suffering and wrongdoing we see won't go on forever without response. At the same time, the emphasis on these being the "last" plagues suggests urgency for those who haven't yet turned toward Him—there really is a final moment coming.
