What does Psalms 94:20 mean?

This question challenges us to think about who God really is and whose side He's on. The psalmist is asking whether God could possibly partner with rulers who use their power to create laws and systems that harm people. It's a rhetorical way of saying absolutely not, this goes against God's very nature. The deeper comfort here is that even when corrupt leaders seem to have all the power, the psalm reminds us that God hasn't abandoned His throne or His standards. When systems feel rigged and injustice feels official, this verse whispers that God sees it, opposes it, and won't align Himself with it, no matter how legitimate that wickedness tries to appear.
