What does Psalms 94:16 mean?

When the psalmist cries out this way, they're expressing the loneliness of standing against wrongdoing, wondering if anyone else sees the injustice and cares enough to act. It's the kind of question someone asks when they're tired of being the only voice speaking truth, or when they're facing pressure to go along with something harmful. The psalmist isn't really expecting a human answer, though—in the verses that follow, they realize that God himself is their defender and refuge. This captures something deeply human about needing solidarity and support when doing the right thing feels isolating, while also pointing us toward a deeper trust that we're never truly alone.
