What does Psalms 91:3 mean?

God promises to rescue you from hidden traps and dangers, both the ones set deliberately against you and the ones that come without warning, like disease or disaster. The "snare of the fowler" paints a picture of an unsuspecting bird caught in a hunter's trap, capturing how sudden and unexpected harm can feel. This isn't a guarantee that nothing hard will ever happen, but rather an assurance that God sees what threatens you and actively works to protect and deliver you, especially in moments when you feel most vulnerable or caught.
