Psalms 75:2
βWhen I choose the appointed time, I will judge blamelessly.β
What does Psalms 75:2 mean?
God is speaking here as the one who holds all authority and timing. Rather than acting on impulse or responding to pressure, he says he will judge according to his own perfect schedule, not ours, and he will do it with complete fairness. This is meant to comfort us: when we're hurt by injustice or tired of waiting for things to be made right, we're reminded that God isn't indifferent or absent, just working on a timeline we can't see. There's both reassurance and humility in that, especially during seasons when everything feels broken or unfair.
