Psalms 74:9

What does Psalms 74:9 mean?
The psalmist is crying out in a moment of profound spiritual darkness, when God's presence feels completely absent. Israel is suffering, God isn't speaking through prophets anymore, and nobody can see a way forward or even imagine when relief might come. What makes this prayer powerful is that the writer doesn't pretend to feel hope when they don't. Instead, they're being honest about the silence, the confusion, and the fear that perhaps God has abandoned them entirely.
