Psalms 74:20
“Honor your covenant, for haunts of violence fill the dark places of the earth.”
What does Psalms 74:20 mean?
The psalmist is crying out to God in desperation, reminding him of the promises he made to his people. He's essentially saying, "God, look at how dark and broken things have become, with cruelty and injustice spreading everywhere, so please remember what you swore to do and act on it."
