Psalms 44:21
“won’t God search this out? For he knows the secrets of the heart.”
What does Psalms 44:21 mean?
God sees what's hidden inside us, even the things we keep buried or don't fully understand about ourselves. The psalmist is saying that nothing escapes God's attention, not our motivations, our struggles, or the quiet truths we carry alone. This isn't meant as a threat, but as a comfort: when we're hurting or confused, God already knows the whole story. We don't have to perform or hide or explain ourselves completely, because he sees us fully and knows us completely anyway.
