Psalms 38:21
“Don’t forsake me, Yahweh. My God, don’t be far from me.”
What does Psalms 38:21 mean?
This is a cry from someone in deep distress, feeling utterly alone and afraid that God has abandoned them. The psalmist isn't making accusations so much as pleading, repeating the same urgent request in two slightly different ways to emphasize how desperately they need God's presence.
