What does Psalms 35:18 mean?

The psalmist is making a promise to God: when rescue comes, he won't keep it private or quiet. He'll stand up in front of the whole worshiping community and tell everyone what God has done for him. There's something powerful about public praise, especially when you've been through something hard. It's not about showing off or seeking attention from people, but about giving God credit where credit is due, openly and boldly. When we've experienced God's faithfulness in our own lives, sharing that with others can encourage them too, reminding them that God shows up when we need him most.
