Psalms 31:1
“In you, Yahweh, I take refuge. Let me never be disappointed. Deliver me in your righteousness.”
What does Psalms 31:1 mean?
When the psalmist cries out for refuge in God, they're expressing a deeply human need to find safety and protection somewhere solid and trustworthy. This prayer comes from someone facing real danger or distress, and they're placing their confidence not in their own strength or other people, but in God's character and power to help.
