Psalms 25:7
“Don’t remember the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions. Remember me according to your loving kindness, for your goodness’ sake, Yahweh.”
What does Psalms 25:7 mean?
The psalmist is asking God to look past the mistakes and wrong choices made during his younger years, when he was still learning and growing. Rather than dwelling on those failures, he's inviting God to remember him through the lens of mercy and kindness instead. This reflects a deep hope that we're not permanently defined by our past errors, and that God's compassion is bigger than our shame.
