Psalms 22:31
βThey shall come and shall declare his righteousness to a people that shall be born, for he has done it.β
What does Psalms 22:31 mean?
The psalmist is painting a vision of faith that reaches far into the future, long after his own struggles end. He's saying that what God does in our lives doesn't just matter to us in the moment, it becomes a story that gets passed down, generation after generation, to people not yet even born. When we experience God's faithfulness, we become witnesses to it, and our testimony becomes part of how others come to know and trust him too. It's a beautiful reminder that God's work in your life right now might be the very thing that helps someone you'll never meet encounter his goodness through your words or example.
