“Of you comes my praise in the great assembly. I will pay my vows before those who fear him.”
What does Psalms 22:25 mean?
The writer of this psalm is emerging from deep distress and making a promise to God in public worship. When trouble has been lifted and faith has held firm, the natural response is to stand before the community of believers and acknowledge what God has done—both through spoken praise and by fulfilling whatever promises were made during the hard time.
