What does Psalms 130:3 mean?
The writer is asking a piercing question: if God tracked and held onto every wrong thing we've ever done, who would have any hope of standing before him? The question isn't really looking for an answer, but rather pointing out the impossible weight we'd all be under if God's memory worked like a cosmic record-keeper with a perfect ledger. This comes from someone who clearly understands human weakness, both their own and everyone else's, and who recognizes that none of us could withstand that kind of perfect accountability.
