What does Psalms 127:2 mean?
There's a quiet reassurance here for anyone grinding through life on exhaustion and worry. The psalmist is saying that all our striving and sleepless nights, all our hustle to make things work or keep things from falling apart, can't actually accomplish what we hope if God isn't part of the picture. The good news is that God doesn't expect us to earn His care through constant effort. Instead, He offers rest, peace, and provision to those He loves, which is you. Sometimes the most faithful thing we can do is stop trying to control everything through sheer willpower and simply receive the rest God is offering.
