What does Psalms 119:93 mean?

The psalmist is saying that God's teachings and commands have literally brought him back to life, spiritually and emotionally. When he was worn down, lost, or spiritually dead inside, God's word reached him and restored him, which is why he's making this vow to hold onto those truths forever. He understands that forgetting them would mean losing what saved him in the first place. If you've ever experienced a particular truth or principle that pulled you out of darkness, you know that kind of gratitude, that refusal to ever let it go.
