Psalms 119:75
“Yahweh, I know that your judgments are righteous, that in faithfulness you have afflicted me.”
What does Psalms 119:75 mean?
The psalmist is declaring something hard-won: that even though God allowed pain into his life, he trusts that God's character remains just and faithful. This isn't saying suffering is good or easy to bear, but rather that the writer has come to believe God hasn't abandoned him or acted carelessly in allowing his affliction.
