Psalms 119:35
“Direct me in the path of your commandments, for I delight in them.”
What does Psalms 119:35 mean?
The writer of this psalm is asking God to guide them toward living according to God's ways, and they're doing so from a place of genuine joy rather than obligation. There's something beautiful here: they're not saying "make me obey because I have to" but rather "lead me this way because I actually want to." It's the difference between trudging down a path you resent and walking eagerly toward something you love.
