What does Psalms 119:3 mean?

These lines describe people who've genuinely aligned their lives with God's direction, and as a result, they naturally avoid doing wrong. It's not about perfection or pretending to be flawless, but rather about the shift that happens when someone's deepest commitments are oriented toward God. When you're actually walking in someone's ways, you're moving in the same direction they are, so the kinds of harm and selfishness that pull you off-course become less appealing. The psalmist is celebrating how freedom from wrongdoing isn't found through white-knuckled effort alone, but through genuinely wanting to go where God is going.
