Psalms 119:107
“I am afflicted very much. Revive me, Yahweh, according to your word.”
What does Psalms 119:107 mean?
The psalmist is in real pain and doesn't hide it, pouring out that suffering directly to God. Rather than giving up, though, this person turns to the one source they believe can restore them: God's promises and words. The plea "revive me" carries the sense of being brought back to life, of being refreshed and strengthened when everything feels heavy and worn down.
