Psalms 114:3

What does Psalms 114:3 mean?
When God led the Israelites out of Egypt, creation itself seemed to respond in awe. The sea refers to the Red Sea parting so people could cross on dry ground, and the Jordan was the river that blocked their way into the promised land, which also stopped flowing when they needed to enter.
