What does Psalms 107:38 mean?

When God's favor rests on people, it shows up in tangible ways: their families grow, their resources increase, and what they've worked to build doesn't fall apart. The psalmist is describing what blessing actually looks like in ordinary life, not as a magical guarantee but as the natural overflow of living under God's care and provision. Even in ancient times when livestock meant survival and wealth, people could recognize God's hand through stability and growth in what mattered most to them. Today that might look different for each of us, but the core promise remains: when we're in right relationship with God, He sustains and multiplies what He's entrusted to us.
