What does Psalms 104:21 mean?

Even fierce predators depend on God for survival, and their roaring hunger is met through his provision. The psalmist isn't just observing wildlife; he's marveling at how creation itself testifies to God's care, from the mightiest animals down to the smallest creatures. When young lions cry out for food, they're unwittingly calling on the one who sustains all life. If God watches over the survival needs of wild animals with no ability to provide for themselves, it quietly reassures us that we too are held in that same generous care.
