What does Proverbs 4:19 mean?
Walking a path you can't see leaves you constantly tripping on unseen obstacles, and that's the picture here for a life built on deception or harm. When we ignore wisdom and pursue what's wrong, we lose clarity about how our choices actually affect ourselves and others. We stumble through consequences we didn't anticipate, blindsided by results we never saw coming. The verse invites us to consider whether the life we're building has real light to guide it, or whether we're moving forward in a fog of our own making.
