Proverbs 4:11
“I have taught you in the way of wisdom. I have led you in straight paths.”
What does Proverbs 4:11 mean?
A parent or mentor is promising to guide someone toward a life that actually works, one built on good judgment and sound choices. The "straight paths" aren't about rigid rules, but about the direct route to flourishing, without the detours that come from foolishness or poor decisions. This is someone saying, "I've given you the knowledge and direction you need, and I'm committed to helping you stay on course." For many of us, especially in confusing seasons, there's real comfort in knowing that wisdom isn't hidden or impossible to find, but is actively offered to us by those who care.
