What does Proverbs 30:33 mean?
When you churn milk long enough, you get butter. When you press your nose hard enough, it bleeds. The writer is using these physical cause-and-effect examples to show us something just as real but invisible: if you deliberately stir up anger in yourself or others, conflict will follow just as naturally. There's no way around it. The point isn't that anger itself is wrong, but that nursing it, feeding it, forcing it to grow larger is the very thing that creates the broken relationships and arguments we usually say we don't want. It's a gentle reminder that we have more control over what happens next than we often think, because what we do right now matters.
