What does Proverbs 30:15 mean?
A leech is a creature that clings to you and drains your blood, always hungry, never full. The writer uses this image to warn about desires that work the same way, constantly demanding more and never satisfied. Whatever we feed them—money, attention, approval, comfort—they just keep calling out "Give, give." The shift to "three things, four things" is a poetic pattern where the writer builds tension by promising three examples, then adds a fourth for emphasis.
