Proverbs 3:27
“Don’t withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do it.”
What does Proverbs 3:27 mean?
When you have the ability to help someone and they genuinely need it, holding back becomes a choice to cause harm. This proverb challenges us to notice the gap between what we *can* do and what we *do*, and calls us to close it. It's not asking you to exhaust yourself helping everyone, but rather to act when you're in a position to help and the need is real. The wisdom here is simple but convicting: our resources, time, and kindness aren't really ours to hoard, especially when someone is depending on them.
