What does Proverbs 28:5 mean?

There's a quiet truth here about what happens to us when we're focused on doing wrong. People bent on evil become spiritually blinded, unable to recognize or care about what's fair and right, because their whole energy goes into protecting their schemes and justifying their choices. By contrast, when we genuinely seek God, our vision clears. We begin to see situations the way He does, understanding not just rules on paper but the deeper wisdom behind what justice actually means and why it matters. This doesn't mean that everyone who follows God never struggles with hard moral questions, but it speaks to a direction. Turning toward God opens something in us. It's less like flipping a switch and more like stepping out of a dark room into daylight, where you suddenly see what was always there.
