What does Proverbs 28:25 mean?

Greed creates constant friction because a greedy person always wants more and resents what others have, making them quick to quarrel and compete. In contrast, when you trust God rather than chasing endless accumulation, you find genuine prosperity, not just in money but in peace, contentment, and meaningful relationships. The verse invites us to notice how much of our conflict comes from wanting things we don't have, and how much freedom comes from believing God will provide what we actually need. It's a simple but powerful observation: anxiety and striving divide us, while faith and trust bring us together and lead to real wellbeing.
