These also are sayings of the wise. To show partiality in judgment is not good.

What does Proverbs 24:23 mean?

Favoritism in how we judge others—whether in small moments or bigger decisions—damages fairness and trust. When we let our preferences, relationships, or biases tip the scales, we hurt the person being treated unfairly and undermine our own integrity. The wise understand that integrity means making the hard choice to be fair even when it costs us something, even when we like one person better than another.
