Proverbs 12:15
βThe way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but he who is wise listens to counsel.β
What does Proverbs 12:15 mean?
A fool trusts completely in his own judgment and believes he's on the right path, while someone wise seeks out different perspectives and actually listens when others offer guidance. The verse isn't saying that listening to others means you're weak or that your own thinking doesn't matter, but rather that wisdom involves the humility to recognize you might be missing something. When we're in hard seasons especially, we often need people around us to help us see situations more clearly than we can alone.
