What does Proverbs 11:24 mean?
Generosity creates abundance in ways that holding back never does. When we share what we have, we find ourselves enriched, not depleted, and we make room for more blessing to flow through our lives. The opposite is also true: someone who clutches tightly to everything, refusing to give, paradoxically ends up with less in the end, both materially and in the deeper sense of what makes life rich. This wisdom applies beyond money to time, attention, and kindness too. There's something almost mysterious about how an open hand receives more than a closed fist, but countless lives testify to it being so.
