What does Proverbs 1:15 mean?

A parent here is urging their child to simply stay away from people heading toward trouble. The warning isn't complicated: when you see others moving toward harmful choices, the wisest thing is to remove yourself from their company before you get pulled along. It's recognizing that some paths are easier to avoid from a distance than to resist once you're walking them. This practical advice acknowledges that we're all influenced by our surroundings, and sometimes the best decision we can make for ourselves is to choose different companions and different directions.
