Philippians 4:15
“You yourselves also know, you Philippians, that in the beginning of the Good News, when I departed from Macedonia, no assembly shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving but you only.”
What does Philippians 4:15 mean?
Paul is reminding the Philippians of their unique faithfulness to him during the early days of his missionary work. When he left Macedonia after planting churches there, they were the only community that supported him financially and stayed connected to him, while other churches didn't. This wasn't just a one-time gift either, but a genuine partnership where they gave generously and Paul received their help gratefully.
