What does Philippians 3:17 mean?

Paul is inviting the Philippians to watch how he lives and follow that same pattern, then to look around and notice others who are living faithfully too. He's not being arrogant here, but rather pointing to a way of life rooted in following Jesus, which he's trying to model. When you're figuring out how to live out your faith, looking at people who seem to be doing it well and learning from their example can be really grounding and practical. It's a reminder that faith isn't just something we believe in our heads, but something we learn by watching others actually live it out.
