What does Philippians 2:1 mean?
Paul opens this passage by appealing to everything that binds Christians together: the encouragement we find in our relationship with Christ, the comfort of being loved, the deep connection we share through God's Spirit, and the genuine kindness we've experienced from one another. He's not asking "whether" these things exist, but rather using them as a foundation for what comes next (he'll call readers to unity and humility in the verses that follow).
