Numbers 3:6
““Bring the tribe of Levi near, and set them before Aaron the priest, that they may minister to him.”
What does Numbers 3:6 mean?
The Levites were being formally assigned to work alongside Aaron, the high priest, to help with all the sacred duties in the tabernacle. This wasn't meant to be a position of lower status, but rather a genuine partnership where their service was essential to keeping Israel's worship running.
