What does Numbers 28:18 mean?
On the first day of Passover, God called Israel to gather together in worship and set aside their ordinary work. This wasn't just a suggestion, but a commanded holy day, a time when the people were to prioritize connection with God and remembrance of their liberation from Egypt. The principle here is that some days matter differently, some rhythms of life are meant to interrupt our normal routines and refocus us on what's sacred.
