What does Numbers 22:32 mean?
Balaam was on his way to curse Israel for money when his donkey repeatedly stopped, sensing danger he couldn't see. Each time, Balaam struck the animal in frustration, unaware that an angel with a drawn sword was blocking the path. When God finally opened Balaam's eyes to the spiritual reality, the angel confronted him: his journey itself was wrong, and the donkey's "disobedience" was actually an act of protection. This moment speaks to how God sometimes uses obstacles and resistance to redirect us when we're heading in a destructive direction.
