What does Numbers 16:17 mean?
When Korah and his followers challenged Moses' leadership, Moses proposed a test to settle the dispute: each man would bring his censer (a small vessel for burning incense) before God, and God would show whose worship he accepted. The test was meant to be definitive and public, allowing the community to witness God's judgment rather than rely on Moses' word alone.
