What does Numbers 16:15 mean?
Moses is defending himself against a serious accusation: that he's been using his leadership position for personal gain. His anger is the anger of someone whose integrity has been questioned, and he appeals to God as his witness that his hands are clean. He hasn't enriched himself through his people's offerings, and he hasn't abused his authority to harm anyone.
