What does Numbers 13:33 mean?
The Israelite spies have just returned from scouting Canaan, and this is their fearful report to the community. They encountered giants there, and the experience shook them so deeply that they felt impossibly small and outmatched, like grasshoppers facing enormous creatures. Their words reveal how fear can distort our perspective, making obstacles loom larger than they truly are and making us doubt our own strength and God's promises.
