What does Nehemiah 13:4 mean?
Nehemiah had just finished rebuilding Jerusalem's walls and establishing spiritual reforms, but his story doesn't end with perfect victory. This verse reveals what happened when Nehemiah stepped away: Eliashib, a priest in charge of the temple storerooms, used his position to help Tobiah, a foreign official who had actively opposed the restoration work.
